Privacy Policy for Vird

Effective date: July 18, 2026
Last updated: July 22, 2026

Vird (the “App”) is operated by İVERBEX EĞİTİM YAZILIM TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ, commercially known as IVERBEX SOFTWARE, in Türkiye. This policy explains how information is accessed, processed, stored, and shared when you use Vird's dhikr, Quran, prayer-time, reminder, and Qibla features. The Android package identifier is com.iverbex.vird.

Vird does not require a general user account and does not provide automatic cloud synchronization. Worship activity is not sold or used as an advertising-targeting parameter. A reviewer-only login described below is used solely by Google Play's review team to inspect Premium features.

1. Information processed on your device

1.1 Location

With your permission, the Android App accesses approximate location while the App is in use. Vird uses latitude and longitude on your device to determine the local time zone, select the prayer calculation convention, calculate prayer times, and determine the Qibla bearing. These calculations use bundled software and geographic data.

Vird does not send your coordinates to IVERBEX, a prayer-time API, a geocoding service, Google AdMob, or the Quran audio provider. It does not request background location, does not create a location history, and does not request Android precise-location permission in the current release. Your last selected location and related settings may remain in local App storage until you delete App data or uninstall Vird. You can deny or revoke permission in device settings and use manual location selection where available.

1.2 Device sensors

The Qibla compass may process orientation, compass, accelerometer, gyroscope, or magnetometer readings in real time. Sensor readings are not retained as a history and are not transmitted.

1.3 Worship activity and preferences

Dhikr counts and sessions, prayer completion records, reminder schedules, Quran reading position and bookmarks, saved intentions, audio-cache metadata, themes, language, and other preferences are stored locally using the App's database, device storage, or cache. Vird does not transmit this information to IVERBEX or advertisers. Android cloud backup and device-to-device backup are disabled for Vird's App data.

1.4 Notifications

If you enable reminders, schedules are created on your device. Android may require notification, exact-alarm, boot-completion, wake-lock, and foreground-service capabilities to deliver or restore reminders reliably. These permissions do not upload your schedule.

2. Internet connections and third parties

2.1 Google Mobile Ads and consent

Vird uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google's User Messaging Platform to show banner, interstitial, and user-initiated rewarded ads and, where required, collect advertising consent choices. Ad personalization follows the user's available consent choices and applicable regional rules. Google may process IP address-derived approximate location, App and ad interactions, diagnostics and performance data, fraud-prevention signals, and device or App identifiers for advertising, measurement, security, and fraud prevention.

The Android App declares the Google Advertising ID permission used by Google Mobile Ads for advertising, measurement, frequency capping, and fraud prevention where device settings and consent permit it. Android Privacy Sandbox AdServices Topics, Attribution, and Ad ID permissions remain explicitly removed. Vird does not request Apple App Tracking Transparency permission. Google may still process IP addresses and other identifiers permitted by the operating system and Google's SDK policies.

2.2 Quran audio

Quran text, Turkish meaning, and transliteration are packaged with the App. Only when you choose to play a recitation does Vird request the selected audio file from the AlQuran Cloud CDN at cdn.islamic.network. That provider can receive standard network data such as IP address, request time, requested file, user agent, and transport diagnostics. Audio may be cached locally for offline replay and can be cleared in App settings.

An EveryAyah URL adapter exists in the application code but is disabled and is not contacted in the current production configuration.

2.3 No Firebase or first-party analytics

The current release does not integrate Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Google Analytics, Sentry, or another first-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK. A Google Mobile Ads SDK may nevertheless process ad-related diagnostics as described above.

2.4 Premium purchase and review verification

On Android, Vird offers the one-time Google Play product vird_premium_lifetime. When you buy or restore Premium, Vird sends the Google Play purchase token and a randomly generated App-install identifier over HTTPS to the IVERBEX Premium verification service. The service checks the purchase through the Google Play Android Publisher API, acknowledges it when required, and returns a cryptographically signed entitlement bound to that App installation. Worship records, coordinates, Quran activity, intentions, and advertising identifiers are not included in this request.

Google Play reviewers can use reusable credentials supplied privately in Play Console to activate review access. The reviewer ID, password, and random App-install identifier are transmitted only when the reviewer submits that form. Vird does not save the reviewer password or Google Play purchase token in its local database or exported backup. The Premium service does not use an application database for these request bodies. Vercel, which hosts the service, may process IP address, request time, endpoint, and technical logs for delivery, security, and abuse prevention.

3. Support communications

If you email us, we receive the information you voluntarily provide, such as your name, email address, message, screenshots, and technical details. We use it to answer your request, investigate problems, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Support records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes.

4. Sharing, sale, and sensitive information

We do not sell personal information. We do not intentionally disclose dhikr history, Quran activity, prayer-completion records, intentions, sensor readings, or coordinates to Google or another third party. Limited advertising data may be collected or shared with Google as described in Section 2.1, and standard network data is processed by the Quran CDN only after you request audio. Premium verification data is processed by IVERBEX's Vercel-hosted service and Google Play only as described in Section 2.4. Information may also be disclosed to public authorities or professional advisers where legally required, or to a successor in a lawful business transfer.

5. Retention, deletion, and security

Local information remains on your device until you delete it in the App where a control is available, clear App storage, clear downloaded Quran audio, or uninstall Vird. Because no general Vird account exists, there is no cloud account to delete. A signed Premium entitlement remains on the device until it expires or App data is removed. Operational request logs and third-party data are retained under the applicable production settings and provider policies. Internet connections use HTTPS/TLS. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed absolutely secure. You may contact us about Premium-service data or deletion questions using the address in Section 10.

6. Google Play Data Safety alignment

The following table states the disclosures that correspond to the current production build. “Not collected” means the data does not leave the user's device through Vird or a Vird SDK.

Data sent to Google or the Quran CDN is encrypted in transit. Locally stored data is not independently end-to-end encrypted by Vird and is protected by the device and operating system. Google Play's definition of “collected” includes data transmitted off-device by an SDK even if IVERBEX does not receive it directly.

7. Children

Vird is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information directly to us. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information contrary to applicable law may contact us for deletion.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on applicable law, including the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and where applicable the GDPR, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent. Device permissions can be changed through Android or iOS settings. Advertising choices and consent can be managed through the privacy controls provided in Vird where legally required. We may need to verify a request.

9. International transfers and policy changes

Google and content-delivery providers may process network information outside Türkiye or your country. Their safeguards and retention practices are governed by their policies and applicable law. We may update this policy when the App, providers, or legal requirements change. The current version and updated date will remain available at this URL.
